You are not only being good stewerts of our world, but helping your township with additional funds.
Thank you for your continued efforts in the recycling.
Bring us your recyclables.

Meeting Date Change - Zoning Commission
At our last Zoning Commission meeting the members voted to move the regularly scheduled meeting from the current second Wednesday of each month to the second Thursday of each month.

Thank you to all who participated and supported the chili cook off.  As of last Sunday $1200 has been collected for the Honor Flight program. It was a huge success. The Jacksonburg United Methodist church would like to thank the Wayne Township Trustees and Wayne Fire Department and Life Squad for all their support, help and work during the cook off.

Township no longer has a fax number.
We have changed phone providers and the decision was made to eliminate our seldom used fax in hopes that most would utilize the e-mail addresses for any information they may need.

Chili Cook-Off 2013

The Jacksonburg Church sponsored a Chili Cook-Off.

They raised over $1,000 and all proceeds went to the
Honor Flight Program.

The event was held this year at the Fire Station. The move has been made from the church to the fire station because it has grown in participation.

We served more than 150 people. Twenty Eight cooks entered their crock pots even with antelope and buffalo meat chilis.

See current events page for slide show of pictures
from the cook-off.
